Poor Wendy. First braces on her teeth and headgear. And now the weakness in her legs has gotten worse. She goes to the clinic for her new leg braces today. The nurse helps her with her compression stockings and helps her put her new braces on. She practices walking at the clinic before leaving and struggling to walk down the stairs in them. Later we see her at home, waking up, putting on her new braces, removing her headgear, eating breakfast and brushing her teeth before reinstalling the headgear. She then goes out for a walk using crutches for support. Her new life is sure a struggle.
